You studied the task list. The work is everything beyond it. This cohort teaches the things you never studied for: the real caseload, the hard conversations, and the clinical judgment no exam can measure. Twenty-four live CEUs, a mentor assigned to you for the year, monthly 1:1 case consultation, and a pre/post competence diagnostic so you can see the growth, alongside a community of new BCBAs growing into the clinicians they were trained to be.
Your first real caseload lives well past the task list. This program is built for everything it never covered.
The concepts and procedures you needed to pass. The foundation every BCBA is expected to walk in with.
Clinical judgment under real pressure: choosing assessments, writing defensible plans, inheriting cases, supervising RBTs, and holding difficult conversations. That is what we build here.
BehaviorPREP has always been about competence. We built this cohort to fill a gap that isn't being met right now.
The technical core: assessment, measurement, documentation, and the frameworks competent practitioners rely on.
The human side: judgment, communication, and the real-world calls that data alone will not make for you.
One mentor, assigned to you for the full year. A monthly 1:1 call that transfers every session to your actual clients, supervisors, and caseload.
The BACB asks for 32 CEUs every two years, including 4 in ethics and 3 in supervision. This cohort delivers 24 live CEUs in twelve months, and it covers every ethics and supervision CEU your first cycle requires. You will not be scrambling for hours in year two, and none of these hours are filler: each one is built around a decision you will face on your caseload.
Join the pilot: CEUs with a mentor assigned to you for the year. Sessions are live every month for the pilot.
A certificate proves you attended. This proves you grew. You start and end the year with the same free-response diagnostic, and you keep both results.
You work through real clinical scenarios and write your reasoning in your own words. No answer choices to recognize, nothing to guess. You find out exactly which decisions you can already make on your own and which ones you have only ever seen made for you.
You know where your gaps are from day one, so every session lands on something you can name. On the Mentor Track, your mentor reads your baseline before your first call and uses it to focus your 1:1s on the decisions that need it most, as they come up on your caseload.
You take the diagnostic again and read your Month 1 answers next to your Month 12 answers. You leave with a side-by-side record of how your clinical reasoning changed, in your own words, and something concrete to show a supervisor or employer.
Your results are yours and stay confidential. As a pilot member, your before-and-after also helps shape the program for every cohort after you.
You are assigned one mentor for the entire year, so your 1:1 calls build on each other instead of starting over. All three of us host the live group sessions, so you get every perspective in the room.
Rachel has spent 25+ years in education and behavior. She began her career as a school speech pathologist, then moved into the corporate sector, where she designed enterprise-level learning and certification programs. ABA entered her life in 2007, the way it does for many parents: through her own family. What started as a parent's need became her second career, and she has now spent the past 11 years as a practitioner. BehaviorPREP is where all of it comes together: language, instructional design, certification, and clinical practice, built around one conviction. Memorization gets you through the exam. Competence gets you through the caseload.
Sydnee has spent the past 12 years working in behavior in a public school setting. She earned her BCBA license in 2022 and uses it daily in the classroom. She is passionate about teaching beyond the textbook and preparing new BCBAs for the real-world challenges — and unexpected moments — that come with the field. She believes being a great BCBA is about more than knowledge; it’s about problem-solving, adaptability, and applying the science to real-world situations. Sydnee is excited to share her experience while helping build a supportive community where BCBAs can learn, grow, and navigate the field together.
Molly has spent the past 10 years working in education and the last 2 years as a BCBA. Her experience in both school and in-home settings has allowed her to work with a variety of learners, families, and teams. Molly is passionate about helping others feel confident in their work and believes that becoming a great BCBA is about more than knowing the science — it’s about learning how to apply it in real-life situations. She is excited to share the lessons she’s learned along the way and support new BCBAs as they navigate the transition from certification to confident, compassionate practice.
